A cooperative poker game. Don't talk about your cards!
Co-op Poker turns Texas Hold'em on its head: you and your crew aren't playing against each other, you're playing as a team against the game. If you love the cooperative poker game The Gang, you'll feel right at home.
Everyone is dealt two private cards, and five shared cards come out over the flop, the turn and the river. The twist: you cannot tell anyone what you're holding, or even how good it is. The only way to communicate is through the numbered chips you grab, each one claiming where you think your hand ranks against the rest of the crew.
After every reveal you can rethink and swap chips, sharpening your read as more cards hit the table. Then comes the showdown: flip everything over and compare the chips to the real ranking. Get every hand in the right order and the heist lands, the whole crew wins. A single misread trips the alarm and you all go down together.
It's tense, quiet, and all about trust: reading your teammates without a single word. Quick to learn, brutal to master.
How to play
Co-op Poker is a cooperative poker heist. You play one hand of Texas Hold'em together, but you may not say a word about your cards. The crew cracks the safe only if everyone correctly reads how strong their hand is compared to the rest.
Setup
Each player gets two private cards. Five shared cards are then dealt face-up in the middle over three reveals: the flop, the turn and the river.
Each betting round
Read your hand
Using your two cards and whatever shared cards are showing, judge how strong your final five-card hand will be against everyone else's.
Claim a rank chip
Grab a numbered chip that marks where you think you rank: chip 1 for the strongest hand, the highest number for the weakest. Swap chips around until each player holds a different number. Just no talking about your cards.
Bet again each street
After the flop, the turn and the river each reveal more cards, update your chip as your read sharpens. You do this across all four betting rounds.
Showdown
Everyone reveals their cards and the real ranking is compared with the chips.
- Every chip matches the real order? The heist succeeds and the crew wins together.
- A single misread and the alarm trips. The whole crew loses.
No table talk
You can react and bluff with your timing, but never name or hint at your actual cards. Reading the room is the whole game.
