Play A Fake Artist for Free Online
Everyone draws the same thing, one line at a time. One of you has no idea what it is.
A Fake Artist is a party game of drawing and deduction. Everyone is given the same secret word to draw, except one player: the Fake Artist, who only knows the category and has to bluff.
Players take turns adding a single contribution to a shared drawing, each in their own color. The real artists must prove they know the word without making it too obvious, while the Fake Artist tries to blend in and figure out what everyone is drawing.
After two rounds of drawing, the table discusses and tries to unmask the impostor. Did the Fake Artist give themselves away with a clueless scribble, or did they fool everyone? You can let the app pick the word, or hand that job to a Question Master at the table.
How to play
Everyone draws the same secret word together, one line at a time. But one player is the Fake Artist who doesn't know the word and has to fake it.
The secret
Everyone gets the same word and a shared theme (category), except one random player: the Fake Artist, who only sees the theme.
The app picks the word for you. Or turn on Question Master mode, and one player at the table chooses it instead and sits the round out.
The drawing
On your turn, add a single contribution to the shared drawing in your own color, then tap Done. The table goes around twice.
Real artists must show they know the word without making it obvious. The Fake Artist tries to blend in and guess what it is.
Find the fake
After the drawing, talk it out and try to spot who had no idea what they were drawing.
Then reveal the Fake Artist, and the word. Did they fool you?
Tip
A great fake adds a confident line that fits the theme. Draw too well and you out yourself; draw too little and you look lost.
